Combat Tracking is a team combat event to track a quarry through terrain for many different reasons. We learn the fundamentals in a spoor pit to establish a baseline of understanding when we look at the earth and the techniques involved in tracking. We use a macro tracking vice micro tracking methodology to close the distance as fast as possible while still maintaining a tactical posture prepared to counter an ambush.
Equipment needed: Full combat kit, binoculars, sketchpad and pencil, small ruler, snacks, water, warm weather gear.
Full day in the field after a short classroom portion.
Following this course is a 3 day HR course. Discounts applied based on how many days of training is attended.
