Integrating a handler and their K9 is crucial to be functional as a cohesive unit. We use the ‘Team Fight’ mentality to establish the Pack. Dogs are pack animals and need to understand their role on a team. Rather the handler is a patrol or SWAT officer trust must be gained on all sides.
